Ramp's AI Index, reported by TechCrunch, shows business AI spending flattening as prices fall while usage keeps rising, with advanced adopters setting defaults that block expensive models for long tasks, giving employees budgets and routing work to cheaper models. On Monday, give one workflow an owner for its AI spend, a default model and a monthly budget, so cost becomes a decision someone makes instead of a bill someone discovers.
